Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you sell Miriam’s original artwork, or only reproductions?
A: For now, we only sell high-quality giclée reproductions. To see our shop, click here. To learn more about the manufacturing process of the reproductions themselves, click here.

Q: Can I order a reproduction of a painting in your galleries that isn't yet offered in your shop?

A: There are extra costs in manufacturing a reproduction we aren't currently offering in our shop, so it would be a more expensive custom order. However, should you desire to place such an order, please email us at contact@miriamboroffstudio.com, and we'd be happy to discuss it with you.

Q: Are there more reproductions of Miriam's paintings available than ones shown on this site?

A: Miriam's catalogue is extensive, and the vast majority of her work isn't yet shown in our online galleries. If you'd like to inquire about shopping from this as-yet-unseen work, please email us at contact@miriamboroffstudio.com.

Q: Do you offer framing?

A: At this time, we do not offer framing; we recommend contacting your local custom frame shop to find the best fit for your reproduction. If you live in our home city of San Diego, CA, we recommend Tom Houk's store near Kensington, The Framemaker.

Q: Did Miriam only paint watercolors?

A: While we currently display an oil and an acrylic painting of Miriam's in our People In Their Worlds and Still Lifes galleries respectively, Watercolors were Miriam's specialty. However, she produced an impressive array of oils, acrylics, etchings, woodcuts, lithographs, and drawings in addition to her watercolors, and over time, Miriam's work in all these mediums will be made available here.

Q: What's your shipping policy?

A: All shipping of watercolor reproductions within the continental United States is free of charge. All our watercolor reproductions are shipped in Uline packing tubes designed to protect artwork to the highest extent. Oil and acrylic paintings reproduced on canvas may incur shipping charges. Please allow up to four weeks for shipping to complete.

Q: What's your return and refund policy?

We will accept returns of an undamaged reproduction up to 30 days after it arrives at your door. (This does not include shipping time.) To return a reproduction, please notify us of your plan to return it in an email addressed to returns@miriamboroffstudio.com, then mail the reproduction back to 5638 Lake Murray Blvd #515, La Mesa, CA 91942. We will refund you the cost of the reproduction.
If a reproduction reaches you in a damaged state, please send photos of the damage to returns@miriamboroffstudio.com with the subject heading "Damage Report." Based on those photos, we will likely replace the reproduction free of cost.
Q: Where do painting titles come from?
A: Miriam almost never titled her work, but for cataloguing purposes, we have provided titles based on what we believe she would have liked.
